How can I create a resource which will benefit students and teachers of HSC Extension 1 English Module B and the Elective, Navigating the Global?
As part of my assessment in the HSC course for Extension 1 English, I've created this website as a resource that responds to the above driving question. My investigation centres on the Ways of Thinking within the prescribed texts I am studying, how the texts represent ideas about Navigating the Global, and putting it all together to benefit those that do the course!
The Poetry of Seamus Heaney, The Shipping News by Annie Proulx and Lost in Translation directed by Sofia Coppola are the three texts this site will be unpacking. However, I've included key information and analysis about the Module and Elective in general in order to benefit a wider community of Extension students and teachers. My website is shaped by what I have learnt while studying this course and what I would want out of a resource, and as such I've tried to keep it as relevant, concise and informative as possible. Reflection is another key component, and by reading my learning journal my hope is that others in this course can relate and perhaps find solutions to similar situations they find themselves in. Ultimately, It is a goal to continue to expand and improve this website based on student/teacher/user feedback. If you would like to contribute to the resources I've made available or share some constructive criticism, it would be extremely helpful for not only me, but you as a user in the future! Thank you for stopping by, and hopefully you find this site useful and helpful! |
